The DSH (German language university entrance test) is the test/exam you will have to pass to be accepted for a place at a German university. Each university creates its own exam. The trainers at the Language Center have been preparing foreign students for this exam for over 25 years and are aware of what is needed to take and pass the exam and start your studies.

A minimum of 400 hours or a completed A2 level are required to sign on for one of the university German courses. To be able to attend one of these courses, you will need to take a level assessment test at the beginning of the semester. The Language Center offers you an interesting alternative – you can join our courses at any time you like.

The Language Center prepares you competently for the DSH and for your future studies. The information we have over the last 10 years show that our success rate for students who have completed the C1 level with us is over 90%. The German Intensive Courses prepare you well for the DSH, TestDaF and other exams such as telc. The levels of the courses (A1-C2) are controlled through written and oral level assessment tests.The number of students in each German Intensive Course (please click here) is between 6 and 12 participants course. Courses from A1 to C1 are offered continually throughout the year.

DSH PREPARATION COURSE

Required level: B2 – C2

Size of Group: 6 – 12 participants

Length of course: 16 teaching hours per week

Course Fee: € 796,-

• Preparation of relevant exam topics
• Expansion of vocabulary
• Information on the exam
• Analysis of language structures
• Training for describing graphics
• Exercises to improve language for building arguments
• Listening and reading practice
